Amazon Freight is a newly launched external-facing freightservice by Amazon. It allows both small and large businesses to useAmazon to transport products in bulk across Europe.

This is aninnovative technology-driven service currently growing rapidly inEurope. Amazon Freight is part of the Amazon TransportationServices organization responsible for many of Amazon’sbest-in-class logistics and transportationoperations.

We are looking to hire for aMunich-based Account Manager position, responsible for nurturingand growing our existing portfolio of shippers through relationshipbuilding, engagement activities and ensuring a great shipperexperience.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role inbuilding this new function and should be highly analytical,customer obsessed, have experience in a commercial role, be able towork efficiently with internal stakeholders and be ready to roll upthe sleeves to grow this business.

Key jobresponsibilities

  • Nurture and grow an existing portfolioof SMB-sized shippers and achieve volume goals with best-in-classservice
  • Maintain a high level of engagement from ourshippers through consultative account management, and proactivelyidentify the challenges they are facing
  • Build strongrelationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio as well asinternally
  • Be the voice of the customer to guideproduct development and iterations
  • Identify and leadnew commercial initiatives to solve customer pain points andimprove shipper experience
  • Lead by example and coachother team members to ensure success as ateam

A day in the life

You'll bebased at one of our corporate sites. You'll stay close to everypart of the shipping process which means you have visibility ofeverything to guide our shippers.

You'll look after all elements ofour partner relationships, from getting the contracts in place,cross- and upselling new services to keeping track of performance.

This role is all about clear communication.You'll be in daily contact with the partners you manage to makesure they have everything they need to carry out deliveries ontime.

Amazoncouldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Services(ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll be wecomed into a diverse teamthat plays a central role in our success.

Using air, sea and roadtransport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latesttechnology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximumefficiency.

Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B-startup withinATS in Europe. Amzon Freight allows external business ("shippers")to use Amazon's transportation technology and network to transportproducts in bulk across Europe.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in businessdevelopment, partner development, sales or alliancesmanagement
  • Experience using data and metrics todetermine and drive improvements
  • Advanced proficiencyin verbal and written English andGerman

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in stakeholdermanagement, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels ofthe organization
  • Advanced proficiency in an additionallanguage (written and verbal) such as Mandarin, Italian orFrench
