Senior Marketing Manager, Echo, EU

Alexa Brand Marketing team is looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed and passionate marketeer to help drive voice assistant growth by connecting new and existing Alexa customers to the most relevant features and functionalities.
You will be responsible for developing integrated marketing plans with core consistent messaging that continues to make Alexa the most loved and advocated Voice AI in EU and drives user growth by demonstrating how our features make life easier and more delightful.
The Senior Marketing Manager will need to use extensive customer insights to define priority programs and features that focus our cross-channel efforts at scale, deriving stronger impact across brand marketing and revenue generation programs.
As part of your role, you will also be responsible for scaling and integrating our social media and influencer offering in Europe.
This is an ideal role for a professional who seeks to leverage their expertise in a large-scale environment that provides ample room for experimentation, testing and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with significant ambiguity, have strong ownership, can work successfully across global teams, and have a good sense of metric-based decision making.
You will need to be able to prioritize and scale effectively in a fast-moving environment and communicate clearly and persuasively.
This person should be able to drive focus and excellence within the programs they own, with their colleagues in marketing and across the organization - including Product Management, Legal, Public Policy, Business Intelligence, and PR.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of innovative integrated marketing campaigns
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns across various channels, including social & influencer activations
- Partner with cross-functional global teams across Amazon to align marketing strategies for compelling results at scale
- Review and approve customer-facing assets, communications to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Provide business analysis to identify device and customer cohort specific behavioural trends and recommend regionally relevant action plans
- Measure performance of all initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer behaviours to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
About the team
The Echo Brand Marketing team drives brand love and advocacy for Alexa, generating both long-term customer awareness benefits as well as shorter-term performance marketing and sales.
We do this by increasing feature advocacy, comprehension and trust, alongside excitement and desire for Echo and Alexa.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluency (C1 / C2 near-Native level) in both English & German language (written & verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven work experience in consumer marketing (B2C), e-commerce, technology, or devices industries.
- Experience developing and executing successful integrated marketing strategies.
- Experience with budget management and strategic allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Experience working with digital marketing channels including paid and organic social, display, video, on-site.
- Experience working on customer-facing content, working with external agencies and guiding creative teams while executing directly on marketing campaigns across channels.
- Experience motivating, influencing and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Creative yet analytical mindset with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Experience in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and self-starter environment for a large consumer brand.
- Proven expertise in analyzing marketing performance metrics and customer insights.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with high level of ambiguity, and strong ownership.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Fluency in French, Spanish or Italian is a plus.
