We are looking for an enthusiastic and technologically adept individual to join our team as a Technical Presales Manager (FFTx / FFTH).
This pivotal role is essential for driving pre-sales activities, managing solution designs, and supporting customer engagements within the telecommunications industry.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze customer requirements, provide recommendations, and track implementation.
- Conduct in-depth market research on unclear requirements, gathering information through customer interviews and feedback on product usability and satisfaction.
- Develop project technical and competitive strategies, prepare bid materials, and handle clarifications during the bidding process.
- Oversee bid progress and manage business negotiations.
- Collect demand information, compare it with sales forecasts, and report sales forecasts regularly.
- Write sales project proposals and provide product sales training to account managers.
- Maintain and manage customer relationships, focusing on technical support lines.
- Lead technical discussions and negotiations with customers, ensuring clear communication.
- Promote products, recommend features to customers, and support product acceptance.
- Research and analyze customer and competitor products, creating strategies to market and position company products effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications, specifically with FTTH / FTTx products.
- Strong expertise in passive telecom systems (GPON, fiber cables, routers, closures) .
- Proven track record in pre-sales support, handling turnkey projects, and managing bids.
- Excellent skills in preparing technical project proposals and sales support documentation.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with telecom operators.
- Capable of managing technical discussions, business negotiations, and client expectations.
- Proficiency in researching market trends, analyzing competitors, and providing strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunications, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Native German speaker with fluency in English.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
