Overview :
The Field Marketing Specialist must have a passion and successful history of building and executing highly effective regional marketing growth strategies and programs that can be implemented by direct and channel sales organizations.
In this role, you will work closely with the global marketing organization to regionalize and execute global demand gen campaigns, product launches, channel marketing programs and customer marketing initiatives.
You will partner closely with sales leadership to build and execute regional field marketing programs, ABM and events to gain new business, as well as, to build increased loyalty and retention of existing customers.
The ideal candidate will be a strong regional marketing leader with an understanding of customers needs, the market dynamics, exceptional understanding of demand generation and field marketing.

The Field Marketing Specialist understands and communicates the value of the Skillsoft offering to customers, our sales organization, strategic partners and global alliances.
This person will be expected to support the regionalization and execution of programs that support our go to market strategies for the Skillsoft EMEA business.
This leader will lead the global execution of Skillsoft’s marketing growth strategies and regional pipeline acceleration tactics.
They will also work very closely with the EMEA Sales teams (direct and channel), Global Marketing team to regionalize global marketing programs and tactical plans to accelerate sales growth.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Execute and support the regional marketing programs and tools that align to the Skillsoft business priorities to drive measurable impact with both our direct and channel sales teams in EMEA.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of all campaigns to internal stakeholders to ensure regional teams are educated on program objectives and targets, fully briefed on campaigns and understand roles, responsibilities and requirements to execute these campaigns flawlessly.
- Regionalize, implement and support marketing programs and tools that leverage Skillsoft’s Global marketing campaigns.
- Build and implement regional demand generation programs designed to increase win rates and speed the sales process; to include Account Based Marketing (ABM).
- Coordinate details and logistics to ensure EMEA marketing campaigns, programs, events and tactics are highly effective.
- Accelerate the sales and channel teams’ adoption of marketing programs and tools.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver field sales marketing programs and tactical assets that support EMEA marketing plans and accelerate the revenue pipeline.
- Organize, manage and proactively communicate marketing project timelines, deliverables and results among the EMEA and global teams.
- Willingness and ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns and requests simultaneously.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Fluent English and German (first language) language skills are required.
- Team oriented, result oriented, collaborative approach
- Ability to interact very effectively with internal and external stakeholders and team members
- Strong marketing mindset, solid digital marketing acumen and customer focus are essential
- Account based marketing experience required, ABM certification highly desirable.
- 5 to 7 years marketing experience, SAAS with a combination of B2B enterprise and prosumer experience preferred.
- Proven record of creating and delivering successful marketing programs and tactics with high ROI in the field and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to understand and communicate the strategic initiatives of Skillsoft
- Advanced skills for Microsoft Office
- Proven track record in a similar role with clear evidence of execution
- Experience of working in a global matrix environment
- Knowledge of salesforce.com, marketo, tableau and other marketing software is desireable.
- Ability to travel as needed to support the business across EMEA
