FPG has a great opportunity for a Sales Director / Business Development Director with experience selling into major network operators (such as Deutsche Telekom, 1&1, Telefonica etc.

in the area of IPTV and TV apps .

As an Individual Contributor, this is an opportunity for a Senior Business Development Professional with a hunter mentality.

Your mission is to break into new telco operators for our client and win new business opportunities in the area of IPTV, Media / TV Apps .

Responsibilities :

  • Managing the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and other deliverables for closing deals, all the while regularly exceeding sales targets by pitching cutting-edge products to new clients based in Germany and Europe
  • Scheduling and carrying out online and in-person meetings, software demonstrations, and phone calls with new clients.
  • Retaining your familiarity with the products and services offered by the business all in relation to IPTV, Media / TV Apps .
  • Create accurate and thorough sales reports.
  • In due course, making sure that all new accounts are smoothly transferred to the account management teams.
  • You will be expected to generate 5M / year in revenue over the course of a 3-year duration (this is a very achievable target based on current revenue wins, which will allow you to hit your bonus / on-target-earnings.

Experience :

  • You will be a hunter with a proven track record of generating and closing new business deals by breaking new accounts with Germany's telecom operators
  • 5+ years of aggressive new business sales expertise in the Communications & Media IT services and software sales environment, which is characterized by long and medium-length sales cycles as well as large and minor financial transactions;
  • Working directly with clients and influential decision-makers in specific accounts;
  • A team member with unquestioned honesty, credibility, and character.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
