Land Acquisition Manager - Remote with travel!
An exciting opportunity has come up for an established renewables business operating across Europe, who are looking for Land Acquisition Managers to join a growing team in Germany.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for identifying, securing, and qualifying new opportunities for large renewable Solar projects across Germany, and be able to travel as and when need be.
Daily tasks will include :
- Speaking to farmers and landowners to gain consent for large scale renwables projects
- Forging relationships with landowners, land agents and farmers to release potential opportunities exclusively to the company
- Supporting negotiation of land legal transactions to progress contracts through to completion as well as supporting the Development team with land related matters
What you will need :
- 3+ years’ experience in the energy or real estate industry with a land focus acquisition
- Experience in face-to-face lead generation / sales, with the ability to be assertive when appropriate
- Experience in securing land rights on targeted land and managing the process end to end
- An understanding of Planning Policy and how this may impact identified development opportunities
- Highly self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and meet individual targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in German
- Good skills with Ms Suite and Google Earth
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Appropriate knowledge of all relevant regulatory and legal requirements applicable to the position
The role is offered predominantly remote, but with the ability to travel and be in Bavaria from time to time.
