Junior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist who wants to work at the intersection of sustainability, product innovation, and digital transformation. In this role, you will help shape our data strategy in a company transitioning toward digital and sustainable excellence while engaging directly with real innovation use cases across kitchen and personal care appliances.

You will work hands-on with fragmented datasets and develop creative ways to extract insight despite data gaps. At the same time, you will contribute to defining how our future data landscape should look - covering data governance, structure, quality, and the requirements needed for connected and IoT-enabled products.

What You Will Do

Build data analysis pipelines to support sustainability assessments (e.g., SBTi) and product-related insights.

Work with data across systems and formats, improving structure, quality, and usability step by step.

Support the development of a scalable data governance approach and related frameworks.

Contribute to understanding product use-phase data and defining sensor, connectivity, and cloud / edge requirements for future product architectures.

Develop prototypes, models, and tools that help business teams make data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with engineering, sustainability, product management, and manufacturing teams on small and mid-sized data projects.

Beneficial knowledge areas : Python, SQL, embedded systems, IoT / edge / cloud infrastructures, data visualization tools.

Good English skills (must-have); German and another language is beneficial.
