• The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!*Job Description As part of your doctoral project, you are exploring approaches to make serverless architectures usable for implementing applications with hard real-time requirements in industrial automation.
• In doing so, you are creating an important solution component for the highly adaptable production in the factory of the future.
• In the course of your work, you are addressing exciting and challenging research questions in the domains of real-time communication, resource managgement, scalability, interoperability and security.
• Through the results of your work, you are actively shaping the future of our own production in more than 250 plants and our industrial business.
• Qualifications *Education : * excellent degree in a program eligible for a doctorate in Computer Science or related engineering fields* *Experience and Knowledge : * experience in the area of distributed systems, serverless and real-time systems, with a strong willingness to further delve into the topic, knowledge in software development and industrial control technology, production IT as well as in manufacturing is advantageous* *Personality and Working Practice : *you show initiative, work in a team-oriented manner and have a confident manner;

creativity is part of your work and you like to be independent; you never lose focus of your goals and have an interdisciplinary way of thinking* *Languages : * very good in English, written and spoken, German is advantageous*Additional Information*www.
