Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
Design industry leading creative solutions for assigned projects within BU’s brand design.
Key Responsibilities :
- As part of a team and under the direction of the Design Director Brand Design, create world class design solutions for adidas BU brand design, with a focus on creative direction, communications, digital and experiential design projects.
- Participate and contribute to franchise specific, seasonal, and annual creative direction development in guidance with the Originals label and brand direction.
- Contribute to the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to end creative excellence from briefing stage to roll-out (consumer-facing).
- Collaborate with a variety of creative resources (Cross-functional teams, freelancers, agencies, etc) on creative execution to ensure holistic creative excellence.
- Create design solutions for a variety of touchpoints from sell-in to sell out, internal and consumer facing that deliver an impactful and authentic aesthetic look and feel.
- Develop creative solutions that fulfil objectives and ambitions for the Originals label.
- Collaborate with Brand Comms, Product marketing and Product Design team members to ensure holistic storytelling and brand look and feel.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming, research and ideation exercises within the wider brand design team. Share cultural insights to bring authentic meaning to storytelling.
- Ensure efficient process and communication flow between cross-functional team members for an aligned vision.
- Present and communicate design solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
- Review and approve production stages of creative execution, ensuring creative excellence to the end.
- Self-Manage own creative process and execute towards given design languages and timelines. Identify opportunities of improvement and change and initiate own proposals / projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong knowledge, experience and insights pertaining to culture (streetwear culture / sneakers / music / fashion / art)
- Passion for Design, branding, typography, photography, packaging and spatial design.
- Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design software / systems (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Powerpoint and additional design apps or tools beneficial.
- Strong graphic and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful / exciting visuals and presentations.
- Language : English : excellent
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
- Undergraduate education and / or advanced experience in Graphic Design, Event Design, Visual Merchandising Design, Communication Design, or related Design specialty.
- 3 years of practical experience in design environment (Studio / agency / brand or similar design related areas).
- Passion for adidas, its cultural legacy and its future.
- Passion for style, culture, design.
