Remote Software Support Specialist
Germany or Austria - 100% home office based following initial onboarding in Germany.
€65-75K plus excellent benefits package.
To be successful in this role :
You will be a confident individual with excellent knowledge of Oracle and MySQL along with fluency in German language and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Other requirements for this role include :
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist, a degree in computer science, or similar qualifications
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems (servers and clients), with basic Linux experience being a plus
- Team player with strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage complex systems and work well in a remote team
- Previous software support experience is a plus
- Understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus
- Must live in Germany or Austria
Job role and responsibilities :
- Provide remote support for software products
- Support warehouse management systems and logistics process software for customers globally through remote maintenance
- Act as a technical contact, receiving and diagnosing error messages from customers, conducting error analysis, and resolving issues using remote maintenance tools
- Document service cases in a ticket system and contribute to the company knowledge database
- Provide technical assistance to a wide range of customers 300-400 clients with support contracts
- Systems vary greatly, ranging from the latest models to systems up to 20 years old , creating a broad and diverse technical landscape
- Handle a variety of support tasks for different software and hardware configurations

Position Overview :
Location : Germany or Austria (100% Remote after initial onboarding in Dahn, Germany)
Type : Full-Time, Home Office Employment Contract
Onboarding :
Approximately 6 months
Initially 5 days per week full-time onsite (all travel, accommodation, and meal expenses covered)
After 3-4 months, increased home office flexibility by arrangement
Due to the complexity of the software, it takes about 1 year to acquire 80% of the necessary knowledge.
