Job Description
Our client, a global provider, is recruiting for a Key Account Manager- Networks to join their project inGermany
Responsibilities :
Secure vRAN / Open RAN business and setup local team
Identify and pursue opportunities that can bring value to our client
To establish close and trusted customer relations up to C-Level
Define the technical solution proposed to the customer in collaboration with the customer, Global Account Solution Manager(s) and Head Quarter Technical Experts.
Cooperate with Global Account team to strengthen and expand client’s position within the Global Account
Must Have Skills :
Essential Hard Skills :
Existing contacts and trusted relationships within Germany and highly reputable
Experience and understanding of Radio Access Networks including vRAN
Minimum of 10-15 years experience in customer facing role in telecom sector including a stint in technical sales
Educated to Degree Level, preferably in Telecoms, Electronics or Computer Science
Fluent in spoken and written English and German
MS Office Suite (Competent User)
Excel, Word & PowerPoint (High Competence)
Numerate with excellent report writing skills Hands-on mentality working from strategic to detailed tactical level
Essential Soft Skills :
A good understanding of the relationship between supplier and customer during the networks buying cycle, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Ability to deal or experience with Asian culture
Flexibility and Patience
Tech savy
Technically competent in 4G / 5G technologies, good understanding of vRAN and Open RAN
A high level of presentation, communication and planning skills.
Ability to deliver final proposal documents to a high standard within tight timescales.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Able to access and communicate with all levels of management, including C’ level
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
Desirable Hard / Soft Skills :
Degree Level or above in Engineering, Marketing and / or Business Studies
10-15 years in carrier or wireless network sales
Technically competent in 4G / 5G technologies, good understanding of vRAN and Open RAN
Established personal relationships with Germany, other German operators
Negotiation, commercial and marketing skills
