POSTE

For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an :

Operational Risk Officer

Reporting line : The incumbent(s) report to and work under the supervision of the Head of Operational Risk Unit

Responsibilities :

• Coordination of the review and update of the institution's Non-Financial RAF (K)RIs, incl. preparation of relevant documentation;
• Assistance in the update of the Operational Risk datasets to the institution's dedicated platform 'Mega Hopex', as well as development of relevant internal processes and manuals contributing to the migration;
• Assistance in the related preparation of the institution's NFR quarterly report, incl. collection of data on the institution's NFR (K)RIs and contribution to the Group's NFR quarterly report.

PROFIL

Qualifications :

• University degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields;
• A minimum of three (3) years relevant professional experience in operational risk activities;
• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.

Competencies :

• Professional level experience with MS Office, Copilot / AI;
• Knowledge of the Mega Hopex platform or similar governance, risk & control (RGC) tools is considered as an advantage;
• Ability to work within tight deadlines, to react swiftly and effectively to new situations in a high-quality service environment;
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise;
• Disciplined approach whilst maintaining creativity and lateral thinking towards troubleshooting and problem solving;
• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external counterparts;
• Team player.

This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.

Salary ranges between 4,866EUR and 6,460EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
