Laboratory Technician (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Preparation of histological sections using rotary and sliding microtomes
• Processing of fresh biopsies and embedding of tissue
• Sample processing: H&E staining, macrodissections, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)
• Sample management: archiving and de-archiving of samples, as well as preparation for sample shipment
• Preparation and execution of orders
• Maintenance and regular servicing of laboratory equipment
• Working in a regulated environment (GCP)
• Creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Documentation and analysis of results
• Database entry and maintenance (electronic recording and documentation of all processes using LIMS)
• Preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits
• Support in the establishment and validation of new analyses

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a BTA, MTLA, CTA, or biological laboratory technician
• Initial work experience in the aforementioned tasks is desirable
• Good command of both English and German
• Proficient in using the MS Office package
• Structured, responsible, and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Additional CT-Gyn qualification (DGZ) or other cytology skills are beneficial
