To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a responsible Head of IT & Digital Transformation (m / f / d), who will build up our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity measures and and digitalisation initiatives to ensure the security and efficiency of our company and network.

Your mission

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategy for the organisation
• Design, implement and manage robust cybersecurity measures, policies and procedures and identify and develop potential security risk remediation strategies for the Group
• Regularly conduct IT risk assessments, continuously monitor potential vulnerabilities and iteratively implement remediation of these
• Driving force in the IT-side support of internationalization, including the integration of new acquisitions and ensuring a consistent level of IT security across all locations
• Development and strategic implementation responsibility for cross-functional digitalisation measures within the Group
• Initiation and management of projects for IT system consolidation, data standardisation, including the introduction of interfaces to various operational systems in cooperation with the central functions of the Group (e.

g. Finance, Operations, M&A)

• Optimization of an existing central data lake and development and implementation of a BI system to improve efficiency and controlling within the organization
• Close collaboration with external service providers, commercial managers and IT managers in the hospital centers in order to develop joint IT solutions and strategies

Your profile

• Fluent communication and presentation skills in German and English
• Completed university degree in computer science, business informatics, information technology, cyber security or a related field
• Several years of experience in the management and implementation of cybersecurity and digitalisation projects, preferably in a decentralised and international environment in the healthcare sector
• Experience with the practice management and billing systems commonly used in the outpatient healthcare sector (Medistar, Turbomed and DATEV, Sage, as well as comparable systems) is an advantage
• Knowledge of the programming languages commonly used in the healthcare sector (Java, C, C++, SQL, Python)
• Enthusiasm and initiative to actively shape the future of IT & cybersecurity
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills to identify and solve group needs and complex problems
• Strong professional leadership skills, also in terms of potentially building a cyber, IT & digitalisation team as well as the ability to communicate with the IT managers of the eye clinic centers and practices
• Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
