Quality Director

A global Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry is seeking a Director of Quality to oversee quality operations across multiple manufacturing sites within its interiors business unit.

This is a high-impact leadership role with strategic and operational oversight of all quality activities related to advanced interior systems for premium OEMs. The successful candidate will drive quality excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the quality strategy across several German manufacturing locations, ensuring alignment with global standards and business goals.
• Act as the senior quality representative for OEM customers, managing escalations and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
• Manage and develop cross-site teams across Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, and compliance functions.
• Own and drive compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and OEM-specific standards, including the coordination of internal and external audits.
• Support new program launches through robust APQP, PPAP, and problem-solving frameworks.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a proactive quality culture and leveraging Six Sigma, 8D, and other core tools.
• Interface regularly with executive leadership, plant management, and global quality stakeholders.
