We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior Software Engineer to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

As our new Senior Software Engineer, you will have a direct impact on Contabo’s future as you develop sound technical solutions to enhance current systems, and by implementing new products for our customers.

This will all be performed as part of a diverse, international, cross functional team within an agile work environment.

You will play an important and active role in the development of our architecture and be responsible for ensuring the code's quality aligns with it.

Ultimately, you'll be the go-to person for providing technical support to your fellow developers.

As we always love to listen to your feedback and have an open-door policy, we strongly encourage you to come up with your ideas and witness their implementation firsthand.

With all that in mind you should have an open mind to trying new tools, frameworks and integrating them into our daily work if the added value is seen.

What convinces us

Your personality, paired with :

• Several years of experience in software development
• Proficiency with one ore more programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java
• Ability to define APIs
• Experience in Back- and Frontend development with frameworks such as NestJS, Spring boot, Django, Svelte, React, and Angular
• Knowledge in working with Docker and Kubernetes as well as with event-based systems and SQL databases
