Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? ® Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is currently seeking applicants for a Field Application Engineer (m / f / d) Business Development Automotive.

This job can be done from our locations in Selb or Heilbronn or 100% remote.

What you will be doing :

• Design IN und WIN of Vishay Semiconductors and passive Components at our focus automotive customers
• Maximize the future business of all Vishay components by identifying all potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM content of Vishay broadline portfolio
• Define new products and derivatives in close cooperation with Marketing and R&D
• Act as internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing and R&D
• Manage projects in cooperation with Sales and Marketing to achieve product qualification and revenue
• Prepare and perform technical and application trainings

What you will bring along :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
• Experience in semiconductor and / or passive component technology
• HW design experience appreciated
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently
• MS Office skills
• Excellent German and English, other language skills as a plus
• Willingness to travel in Germany and Europe
