HVAC Design Engineer - Basic Design (m / w / d)

Are you a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with a passion for Basic Design? Our client in Hamburg is seeking an experienced professional with Cadmatic knowledge to support the development and coordination of HVAC systems in shipbuilding projects. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in technical detail and international collaboration.

Aufgaben

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead the Basic Design of HVAC systems using Cadmatic. You’ll also be involved in detail design when needed and act as a technical coordinator for subcontractors. Your ability to interpret and adapt P&IDs and specifications is crucial.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute Basic Design of HVAC systems in Cadmatic.

Perform occasional 3D modelling and detail design for smaller scopes.

Interpret and, when required, modify P&ID diagrams.

Write technical specifications for subcontractors.

Check and validate the quality of the work delivered by subcontract partners.

Collaborate with internal design teams and provide design clarifications as needed.

Anforderungen

Solid experience with HVAC design in shipbuilding, with a strong focus on Basic Design.

Proficient in Cadmatic.

Ability to work independently from P&IDs and technical documentation.

Experience in writing technical specifications for international subcontractors.

Capability to assess and assure subcontractor output quality.

English fluency required. German a big plus.
