Start your career now at ME-Automation Projects GmbH in Ratingen, Kassel or hybrid as : Proposal Manager / Proposal Engineer (m / f / x) Automation and Control Tasks : The main mission of the role is taking over the responsibility of generating technically accurate and commercially competitive proposals for automation project opportunities based on Mitsubishi Electric's Distributed Control System PMSXpro and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system Genesis64.

The main tasks of the successful candidate include : Evaluation and clarification of customer's technical specifications and assessment of their feasibility given Mitsubishi Electric's plant automation solutions portfolioEngineering of the proposed solution based on customer requirements and Mitsubishi Electric's portfolioAccurate estimation of required Bill of Materials and Quantities and consequently cost of the proposed solutionCreation and support the sales responsible in negotiation of technical and commercial deviations with the help of solutions management and contracts management departmentsEvaluating technical and commercial risks of automation solution bids and proposing the respective mitigation measuresSupport sales responsible in clarification and negotiation of prepared proposals with the customersSupport sales responsible in transferring won projects to the project execution organizationProfile : University degree in electrical engineering with specialization in automation, control or electronics from an accredited university or equivalent training and experienceDetailed knowledge of automation and control technologies and solutions specifically Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systemsKnowledge of process plants engineering as well as instrumentation shall be considered beneficialKnowledge of utilities market and other process industries would be an advantagePast experience of generating proposals for industrial solutions and / or working experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition SystemsMultiple years of experience in solution and project business especially in growth cycleInternational work experience and exposureFocused on business results and customer value creation with high level of attention to detailCross functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authorityHigh level of inter-cultural sensitivity with the ability to function well in an extremely international environmentFluent in business English and German.
