C++Team Lead - IT Security - Frankfurt area - Up to €150,000 p.a.

A highly innovative mid-size company is currently looking for a Software Team Lead to head up the IT security team at their location in the Frankfurt area.
Your role :
Overseeing a team of both junior and senior developers, you work will focus on the development of innovative software solutions for IT security.
This will include maintenance of the existing code base as well as continuous new improvements. Your responsibilities will include making strategic design choices, updating architectural frameworks, and maintaining the security and performance of legacy systems.
You will also manage delivery timelines, report progress, and take responsibility for results.
About you :
- Extensive experience with C / C++ development on Windows, ideally within the field of IT security
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience
- University degree in computer science or another relevant field or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of common project management tools
- Solid understanding of software architecture
- Excellent communication skills and, ideally, fluency in both English and German
