Your role

As a Backend Developer at SYNAOS, your mission is to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge product that addresses our customers' challenges through data-driven solutions.

Your role is pivotal in harnessing the power of data to deliver innovative and impactful features.

Your mission

• Leverage your expertise in Kotlin and Python to develop backend systems that drive data-centric solutions for our customers
• Work with industry-leading technologies and tools such as IntelliJ, GitLab, Jira, Kafka, REST, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS
• Utilize Java and GraphQL proficiency for additional versatility in solution development
• Thrive in a small, agile team environment where a trial-error mentality is embraced
• Contribute to the development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) with flexibility and adaptability to fast-paced project cycles
• Foster an enthusiastic team orientation, actively engaging with developers to ensure a seamless and effective communication process

Your profile

Abilities

• Academic background in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Software Engineering, Information Technology)
• Advanced professional experience in backend development or equivalent proficiency in another object-oriented programming language
• Proficient in programming and coding in English (Knowledge of German is a plus)
• Demonstrated experience in developing software within a collaborative team environment
• Comfortable working in a 99% remote job setup with occasional office attendance
