This German company operates in the renewable energy industry, primarily focusing on solar power projects. They handle everything from project development to maintenance, aiming to promote the use of clean energy solutions.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SCADA Team Lead to oversee the technical implementation and management of our SCADA systems for large-scale international solar projects.
As a key member of our team, you will ensure the smooth execution of projects from inception to commissioning while adhering to strict quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the SCADA team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure the seamless integration of SCADA systems, aligning with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with external engineering service providers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive SCADA and DCS system plans for major solar projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to define and refine project scope and requirements.
- Analyze plant monitoring and control needs, translating them into detailed specifications and plans.
- Evaluate, plan, and implement IT and operational technology (OT) requirements for optimal system performance.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve customer and supplier issues.
- Oversee all SCADA and DCS aspects of projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Mentor and support technicians during field operations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Proven track record in SCADA and I&C technology within the energy or information technology sector.
- Extensive experience in planning and implementing electrical and network systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication technologies, particularly Modbus.
- Proficiency in EPlan software is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
