You would be joining our Product Development Organization as a Senior Development Engineer responsible for the Verification Strategy, Requirement Decomposition, and Specification Development for our robotic projects in development.

A Day in the Life
- Develop and drive a robust and efficient Design Verification strategy for product requirements and partner with System Engineering to develop, review and decompose product requirements.
- Write or review / approve Design Verification protocols and reports.
- Become champion for studies and / or activities that drive robust design, such as design of experiments, transfer function development, and simulations.
- Lead and / or support cross-functional failure investigations and analysis and represent the development engineering function on product development extended core teams.
- Mentor junior verification engineers working on your projects, and provide feedback on engineering reports, verification protocols, and verification reports.
- Liaison with Reliability, Compliance (60601), Hardware (Electrical and Mechanical), and Software teams for your projects.
- Support the development of regulatory submissions for your projects.
- Support QMS and / or DHF audits as the development engineer SME on those projects and support changes made to your projects post-launch.
Must Haves
- A Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant working experience, or advanced degree in robotics engineering or related field with 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience with applying or developing a product according to System Engineering principles
- A strong understanding of Regulatory requirements for Design Controls and Design Verification
- Industry experience with statistical analysis of data
- Fluency in English
Nice to Haves
- Experience with robotics or electro-mechanical systems
- Proven track record of contributing to medical devices of high complexity
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Fluency in German
