Global Security Department
The Global Security Department for Vantage Data Centers is very hands on. In most cases, we specify, purchase, configure and maintain all networking and server hardware.
We also work closely with partner VARs to learn about the latest technology changes so that we can make informed purchase decisions.
We are always looking for ways to strike the best balance between technology, performance, and cost. Vantage Security Department also participates in designing each of our new data center building’s security infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions
Provide a highly efficient and proactive Security coordination and support service, enabling the delivery of a first-class Security service to all internal stakeholders.
Comfortable with cross departmental collaboration.
- Facilitate onboarding of new Vantage partners
- Assist with the management of the full employee life cycle admin including recruitment, referencing, onboarding and probation processes
- Compile and maintain digital & electronic records, including holiday, sickness & maternity leaves
- Support with processing of Vendor Purchase Orders and assist with the documentation of employee compensation & benefits
- Support Security-related training programs & workshops
- Daily management and administrative support
- Coordination of Security Team : Travel, Schedule / Calendar, Meeting organization and support logistics, Event planning (i.
e. offsites, customer meetings, virtual team activities), Expense report preparation
- Help and support security construction team with site induction training and a project handover to security operations team
- Update and maintain security standard operating procedures and global security policies
- Conduct site surveys to ensure security signs and directions are standardized globally while respecting local jurisdiction requirements.
Duties
- Modification / Updating of EMEA DLs
- Streamline workflow and standarize
- Updating Templates for Site Onboarding new sites
- Updating Templates for onboarding new security officers
- Modification of file structure for Teams Groups
- Updating SharePoint with new documentation
- Review of Purchase Requisitions, ensuring any spending outside of budgets is justified and authorized
- Match purchase invoices received to purchase orders, code and process the invoices, and gain the relevant invoice approvals through Finance systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, related field, or equivalent experience, desirable
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
- Data Center or high-tech experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- Driven, strong communicator, outstanding written & communication skills along with high attention-to-detail, required
- Candidates should speak English (business fluent) plus at least one other European language international experience desirable
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence making video and voice calls internally and externally
- Must be comfortable working under pressure and remain calm with quick turnaround times
- Confident in use of the Microsoft suite and outlook calendar - sending professional externally facing invitations
- Fluent in German & English (oral and written) - Essential
- Travel is expected to be less than 15%
