Sales Product Manager
A trading house is currently recruiting for a Sales Product Manager for the Supplement and Energy Drink market.
Based in Frankfurt the Sales Product Manager in the Life Science Business Unit will take responsibility for a product group and constantly expand the portfolio.
About 30% of the role will be attending trade fairs and meeting with customers for the products in Europe
Native level of German and business level of English is essential for this role.
TYPE : Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS : from Monday to Friday - weekend work might also be required due to the nature of the work (40 hours per week)
SALARY : €70-90K depending on experience + bonus
START : ASAP
LOCATION : Frankfurt, Germany (Currently 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home (after probation) It may change depending on the company’s decision.)
Sales Product Manager Main Responsibilities :
- Managing the Product Group and constantly expand the portfolio
- Convince customers of their products and quickly become a sought-after consultant
with your expertise in nutraceuticals, food additives or sports nutrition and your winning manner
- Rely on an existing high-quality product range and on the quality of their suppliers with whom communicate regularly, as well as on experienced colleagues and the BU management
- Regularly contact and visit customers and potential customers, especially in the DACH region but also in other EU countries
- Have an ear to the market, present at trade fairs and conferences and recognise trends at an early stage
- Use own insights to successfully develop new products and accompany their market launch with the support of colleagues and superiors
Sales Product Manager Ideal Candidate :
- 5 -10 years sales experience in supplements or Energy drink sector
- Chemical or Science based degree background or be confident about explaining technical details about the products in discussion with technical staff
- Experience in application technology would be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite
- Ideally know-how in procurement marketing or sourcing
- Native level of German and business level of English is essential
- Other European languages are a bonus
- Flexible attitude
- PC skills (Microsoft Office)
