National Tax Manager
Our client is a global healthcare corporation specialising in intricate biopharmaceuticals and medical equipment. They are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join their team in Frankfurt.
Tasks :
- You'll provide expert support for the German entities within a prominent corporate group, serving as the go-to person for inquiries related to national income tax law.
- Your duties include preparing tax returns for corporate and trade tax, analysing potential tax structuring opportunities, and collaborating on cross-team projects.
- You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the tax compliance structure of the group and the supported companies, adapting and implementing relevant processes, and exploring opportunities for automation and digitalization.
- Additionally, you'll conduct training sessions on German income taxes.
- As part of your role, you'll serve as a key liaison with tax authorities, handling inquiries, tax returns, advance payments, and other related matters, and providing support to the internal audit team.
- Lastly, you'll contribute to tax reporting, controlling, and calculations for quarterly and annual financial statements.
Requirements :
- You hold a degree in business administration with a specialization in taxes or law.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the tax department of an international company or at an auditing / tax consulting firm.
- Possession of a tax advisor exam is required.
- Practical knowledge of deferred taxes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in DATEV and MS Office is essential.
- On a personal level, we're seeking a true team player with a strong intrinsic drive, who approaches tax matters with enthusiasm and dedication.
