Senior Project Manager / Project Manager

I'm currently seeking experienced senior project managers to join my client's offices in Germany, with a strong emphasis on the life sciences industry, particularly serving pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

You'll play a crucial role in various EPCMV projects, ranging from early feasibility studies to modifying existing plants and production lines, as well as constructing large greenfield projects.

Your responsibilities will encompass :

• Ensuring the achievement of project objectives agreed upon with the client within the specified time and budget constraints
• Defining the project delivery strategy to meet the project objectives
• Planning and overseeing all activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation
• Initiating cost, risk, and deadline management, along with responsibility for project reporting
• Managing the project budget and implementing comprehensive change management
• Ensuring compliance with required project quality standards (QM & QC) or EHS requirements
• Properly managing project resources to maintain the highest level of professionalism in project delivery

What you'll need to bring to the table :

• Completed technical studies with a focus on process engineering, biotechnology, plant, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent training
• Training in project management or PM certification is advantageous
• A minimum of 8 years of project management experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology projects
• In-depth technical and economic understanding of project processes and occupational health and safety
• Strong team orientation coupled with commitment and a hands-on mentality
• Experience in technical and / or interdisciplinary personnel management
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Willingness to travel within Europe
