RESPONSIBILITIES
If you love numbers as much as we do and are a dedicated team player, join our Accounts Payable & Freight Cost Management team and help us to ensure professional freight invoice management for our customers.
- You check, process and post incoming freight invoices for formal and factual correctness and clarify differences.
- Furthermore, you are responsible for freight calculation and clarification of complex issues, you will be in charge of important business partners and will be in close contact with our BASF units : Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Chain.
- Additionally, you continuously improve the financial processes proactively and participate in important topics such as process automation.
- You work with SAP and MS Office, provide technical support for projects, and design and independently conduct process training.
QUALIFICATIONS
- commercial training, e.g. as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk, or business studies with a focus on logistics
- ideally, initial experience in the finance department of a forwarding company
- knowledge of accounting contexts
- good English and / or German skills

- Gross annual salary (full-time) : 32.000 - 35.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
