Our growing business needs exceptional senior talent to support it, particularly in areas such as Cloud and Engineering where Wipro needs to accelerate the rotation to Cloud for its strategic customers as well as new customers. An opportunity has arisen for CTO - Cloud Engineering, within our Cloud Transformation practice. The role is to help large enterprises benefit from cloud technology, improving their agility, bringing innovation and optimising their cost of operations. The role holder will represent Wipro FullStride Cloud Services and engage with multiple senior client stakeholders; building a roadmap for adoption of cloud in their business, participating in platform foundation, risk and governance reviews, business case development and transformation delivery. Who we are looking for A seasoned Cloud, Engineering and Technology Leader with experience of working on multiple large-scale cloud native transformation programs, working across platform build, governance processes and platform adoption within financial services or similar enterprises. They need to be able to bring in experience and thought leadership to act as a trusted advisor for our clients. The disciplinary manager for this position is Ami Jain, the location of the role is Frankfurt or Munich, although we welcome applicants from across Germany. We are looking for a hands-on leader who has experience working with large enterprise clients, agile and passionate about engineering led transformation. Responsibilities Growth : Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure your engineering leadership opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning. Contribute to pre-sales, advisory and delivery excellence Relationships : As a senior technology thought leader you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the cloud transformation business. Partner with Client’s Cloud COE, Platform Engineering, Business and Product teams to enable rapid and sustained shift towards cloud. Collaborate with engineering directors, integrated delivery and technology practices across Wipro, ensuring that the capability, capacity matches the future demand. Solutions : Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the designated strategic client Customer Centricity : Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client / customer value and strategic goals. Branding : Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare Participate in industry events, blogs and market making activities as representative of Wipro FullStride Cloud Services. Thought Leadership - Ability to converse with industry leaders, analysts and formulate POV on trends and proactively propose solutions, investment decisions along with published artifacts, industry speakerships, analyst interactions. Drive thought leadership in engineering and architecture delivery with a large enterprise client or across a cluster of our clients within a sector. People : Build community of engineers to drive expansion of our regional engineering hubs. Lead charter for attracting talent, skill development, engineering and engagement with community in the region. You will ideally have performed the role of CTO, Chief Technologist or even Head of Architecture / Engineering Can act as trusted consultant to our Client and as Leader and mentor to our teams. Experience in conducting portfolio analysis of IT systems and make cloud adoption recommendations. Experience of cloud native patterns - DevOps, microservices, containers, and server less architecture. Has experience of Global delivery model, working with collocated and distributed teams. Experience of Organisation Design to align to consumption and management of cloud services. Industry experience within Telecommunications sector.
