Stellenbeschreibung

Provide in conjunction with the EU head of controlling and finance leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, ensuring clear objectives and effective performance management.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.

Collaborate with executive leadership on financial planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.

Ensure the company's financial policies and procedures comply with regulatory standards and best practices.

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements)

Year end statutory reporting / audit responsivity with focus on compliance, including ESG / CSRD

Monitor financial KPIs and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Implement and maintain robust financial control systems to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, and debt management as well as ensure that the proper risk management and financial compliance strategies are in place

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, among other through an increase of the level of automation.

Ensure ongoing training and development to enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge.

Encourage collaboration and efficient processes across the finance and accounting department.

Requirements

Completed master's degree with a focus on controlling or accounting
Several years of relevant professional experience in a leadership position, preferably in an internationally operating industrial company
Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel as well as some knowledge in data analytics tool (eg. Power BI)
Strong experience with ERP Systems
Excellent English skills. French skills is advantageous but not required
Strong analytical and strategic abilities
Pragmatic and structured implementation skills
The ability to lead and motivate a high performance team and to foster a positive dynamics based on change
Clear and concise communication
Ability to work with a broad range of teams in a cross functional manner
