Hauptaufgaben

Plans and lays out work and prepares detailed drawings and sketches when deviations from initial plans are necessary, or to show sections of plans in more detail. Reads and interprets building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals. Based on work to be performed, determines amount, types and measurements of needed material; selects material, supplies and tools needed and obtains same from appropriate sources. Inspects and ensures enforcement of safety codes and calculates power requirements. Installs, modifies, repairs, troubleshoots and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls and equipment, such as computers, air-conditioning plants, refrigeration plants, compressors, machines of all kinds, intercoms, heating appliances, lighting systems, etc. Performs all electrical installations in newly built offices, warehouses, work shops and other buildings, i.e., secondary distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage, phase and frequency requirements, distribution panels, switchgears, power and control circuits, lighting systems, and emergency egress & lighting systems. Determines, arranges, places, and routes distribution panels, boxes, circuits, fittings, connections, and controls. Determines type, size and arrangement of wiring, conduit, fixtures, transformers, generators and other electrical devices. and installs them. As required, fabricates components. During major or new installations, renders technical advice and guidance to personnel in lower grades and performs on-the-job training. Performs meter readings on a regular basis, in order to support O&M utilities branch.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

A4-2805-05 :

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten.

Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade.

ODER / OR

5 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung.

5 years of specialized experience.

A4-2805-06 :

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten, PLUS 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Lohngruppe 5 oder in, vom Schwierigkeitsgrad vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten, welche selbständig ausgeübt wurden.

Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently.

ODER / OR

8 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung von denen mindestens 3 Jahre in der Lohngruppe 5 oder vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten ausgeübt wurden.

8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level.

• Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• Bewerber müssen in der Lage sein einen Gabelstaplerschein zu erwerben und zu behalten. / Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift operator license.
