Do you love strategically planning, organizing, and successfully executing events? Do you have a keen sense of how to bring people together and create lasting experiences? Then you’re in the right place! As an Event Manager (m / f / d) , you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of our events – from trade shows and conferences to our very own Shopware Community Day. Your events will strengthen our brand, expand our network, and deliver measurable results.

No matter where you work, you are an integral part of the team. Therefore, we are looking for an Event Manager (m / f / d) throughout Germany !

Strategic Event Planning : You will develop and implement our event marketing strategy, carefully selecting relevant trade shows, conferences, and events to position Shopware as a leading provider of ecommerce solutions.

End-to-End Event Organization : You will plan and coordinate our participation in events – from the initial inquiry and goal definition to preparation, execution, and post-event follow-up.

Managing External Service Providers : You will oversee the organization and coordination of all stakeholders, from internal teams to external service providers such as event organizers, booth construction, catering, technical support, and hotel bookings.

Internal Resources & Partner Coordination : You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to define and implement strategic objectives for each event. This includes planning presentations, workshops, and speeches, organizing booth branding, and coordinating with co-exhibitors and sponsors. You will also ensure that all relevant internal stakeholders are fully integrated and optimally prepared for each event.

Performance Measurement & Data Management : You will collect, analyze, and utilize event data to measure success and optimize future events.

CRM & HubSpot Management : You will ensure that all event data is recorded in HubSpot to enable transparent reporting.

Budget & KPI Monitoring : You will manage budget planning, cost control, and event performance tracking, always keeping key metrics in focus.

This is what you’ll bring to the table :

You have 2–4 years of experience in event or project management, ideally in the software or tech industry.

You possess strong project and event management skills and are accustomed to planning and executing multiple events simultaneously.

You have experience in stakeholder management , both internally and externally, and excel in communication.

You work in a structured manner , can set priorities, and remain calm even in stressful situations.

You have a strong analytical mindset , are confident in negotiations, and can efficiently plan and manage budgets.

You are performance-driven , think in terms of KPIs, and have a solid understanding of controlling and success measurement.

You are proficient in digital tools , particularly HubSpot or similar CRM systems .

You are fluent in both German and English , both written and spoken.

Ideally, you have experience in marketing activities , particularly in invitation management and targeted event promotion.
