Thecommercial operations director EMEAI will report directly to the VPof Sales EMEA. Geographic location of the position is preferable inGermany (Cologne or Munich) or in Switzerland (Schaffhausen). Thisincumbent of the role is responsible for the design and executionof the Operational Go-to-Market strategy for the entire EMEAregion, in collaboration with the VP Sales EMEA and respectiveregional leaders.

CommercialOperations DirectorEMEA

• Supervise allInstruments (New products from our manufacturing) and Service(Calibration, maintenance and demonstration units) operations forEurope
• Management of back-office departments,e.g. order management, sales enablement and operation analysts,trade compliance, logistics, warehouse, used equipment sales –leading a team of 4 managers and extended team of ca. 25employees.
• Creation of strategic vision for theoperations team including critical performance metrics to supportthe execution of the vision
• Coaching anddevelopment of the team to support individual development needs aswell as ensuring a highly engagedteam.
• Optimization and adaptation of internalprocesses, targeting internal and external customer satisfactionand identification of cost savingpotentials.
• Support of the marketing and salesorganization by providing innovative operational support andinternal process improvement.
• Improvements tothe existing systems in terms of data quality and workflows,including Oracle, CRM and other internaltools.
• Oversight the order management / salesadministration for all orders inside Europe andIndia
• Oversight of the logistics’ strategy forEMEA; including offshore logistic support for our manufacturingfacilities in Asia and the US, as well as logistics services formaintenance, calibration and repair and demonstration units insideEurope.
• Ensure the Operations department'scompliance with all trade and export controlregulations.
• This role will directly report tothe VP of Sales EMEA and will be part of the EMEA leadershipteam.
