Université du LuxembourgMettlach, DEAbout the FSTM
The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.
Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
Your role
EVITA is a Horizon Europe strategic project with the mission of creating a sustainable and dynamic EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy that empowers learners, educators, professionals, and researchers across Europe in the multidisciplinary field of HPC, including related areas such as emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing) and their cross-cutting dimensions. The vision for EVITA is a thriving European HPC ecosystem where knowledge knows no boundaries. The EVITA consortium's primary objective is to establish and maintain the EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy (EVITA) with a robust governance structure, high-quality training and learning materials, and a sustainable plan. FSTM's main tasks are to contribute to the definition of the body of knowledge and competencies, assist in developing the skill tree used as a foundation for the Competence and Qualification Framework and contribute to the survey of the STEM curricula landscape to align the qualification scheme with existing programmes at all universities. FSTM will also work on establishing a standardised pedagogical approach and designing a training module format, developing and executing modules within the consortium to pilot and verify the set-up process. Other members of the consortium include the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Politecnico di Milano and Technische Universität Wien.
Your Responsibilities :
- Design and implement communication strategies to promote EVITA initiatives to academic, industrial, and public audiences
- Create and manage content for digital platforms, social media, press, and newsletters, ensuring consistent messaging across channels
- Plan, promote, and support public-facing events such as hackathons, AI Cafés, seminars, and workshops
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coherent and impactful communication efforts
- Translate technical and research-based outputs into accessible content for broader dissemination and engagement
- Coordinate science communication outputs including videos, podcasts, social media and other outreach campaigns
- Contribute to ecosystem animation through storytelling, community building activities and stakeholder engagement
- Manage and organize EVITA related events
- Track outreach KPIs, support internal reporting, and contribute to the documentation of project visibility efforts
- Coordinate FSTM project reporting (financial and technical) as stipulated by the funder, supported by the FSTM research facilitators' team
