As Bid Manager, you lead the bid phase for complex tenders and strategic opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals. Verantwortungsbereiche

• Lead bid phases for formal tenders, strategic deals, and complex opportunities
• Govern bid projects with defined deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and escalation paths
• Coordinate virtual bid team across Sales, Presales, Delivery, Legal, Compliance, Pricing, Finance and other stakeholders
• Craft executive summaries, value propositions, and overall proposal structure
• Oversee security, technical, compliance, and legal responses
• Ensure content quality, consistency, and implement quality gates for proposals
• Manage pricing discussions in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Presales
• Support contractual discussions and align technical, commercial, and legal content
• Maintain central knowledge base with RFx response libraries and templates
• Contribute to process improvements and global scalability of bid management

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or comparable qualification
• Several years' experience in bid/tender management, sales excellence, presales, or complex proposals
• Experience with RFIs, RFPs, or tenders in software, IT services, cloud, or B2B environments
• Strong project management and ability to drive structured, timely, quality-focused bid processes
• Understanding of complex B2B sales, international projects, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to consolidate technical, commercial, legal, and compliance content into coherent proposals
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions and levels
• Structured, pragmatic, solution-oriented working style with emphasis on quality
• Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience with proposal documents, templates, and response libraries; knowledge/tool management desirable
