Creative Lead - Growth

It’s an amazing time to join Pocket FM as we continue shaping the future of audio entertainment both in India and globally. We are India's leading audio OTT platform with the largest collection of OTT shows, podcasts, and audiobooks across a wide variety of genres and languages. We are reimagining the traditional radio to build an internet-scale platform to bring together communities to share stories and spread knowledge.

Our mission is to give wings and wisdom to stories, transforming them into a strong entertainment package. Pocket FM has grown to 80 million listeners, spending an average of over 110 minutes every day, while the total streaming on the app counts to over 4 billion minutes monthly.

At its core, this role is grounded in partnering with some of the best storytellers and helping them bring their visions to life on the Pocket FM App across a range of content formats. You shall actively engage with the creative team, marketers, data analysts, and producers to work on concepts, research, and data, to market immersive and compelling scripted serialized stories across multiple genres. The successful candidate will marry a strong passion for entertainment and storytelling with an eye for social media native marketing, to define Germany’s growth strategy and playbook. If you’re a fan of fictional content, this is your chance to transform how storytelling is presented and discovered by millions of users around the world.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee creative & manage a team of Promo Writers, Video Editors, and Marketers
  • Test content on social platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok) & optimize for low CPIs
  • Strategize long-term to achieve a recovery on ad spend within 6-12 months
  • Work with creative team members to dub & adapt US promotional material
  • Integrate AI into workflows to improve efficiency & increase creativity
  • Design new marketing assets at a quick speed & iterate repeatedly for success
  • Identify trends in the marketplace and work to serve those appetites.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify ideas / concepts based on market testing and to evaluate performance of ongoing series.
  • Develop partnerships with social media + entertainment companies to establish Pocket FM as a Growth presence in the German media landscape

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of Creative level or above experience at a studio, network, production company, startup, and / or corporation.
  • Digital marketing background with experience running paid campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
  • Prior network of writers, marketers, & social media producers
  • Strong understanding of story, theme, tone, structure, plot, and narrative arcs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivator, problem solver
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Passion for storytelling and content

    • Location : Germany - Remote Working (Berlin is a plus)

    Language Proficiency : German-native and Basic English
