The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the strategic partnership with Global Key Clients to position Maersk as the preferred logistics partner. The KAM will maximize Maersk’s business result thought a combination of world class account management, business development, and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities
- Detailed understanding of the customer’s supply chain strategy and needs.
- Develop a joint strategic roadmap with the customer and internal stakeholders.
- Develop strong network with key customer’s stakeholders
- Create, Manage and Inspire the global network through proper Account Planning methodology
- Connect MAERSK organization with customer organization through proper Stakeholders Management matrix
- Connect internally with the global MAERSK network to rally support and involve specific internal stakeholder.
- Hunt and Identify business opportunities in alignment with the defined roadmap and commercial objectives
- Lead sales pursuits (especially Global opportunities) as per defined sales process
