The Key AccountManager is responsible driving full Molecular Devices’Product Portfolio. The associate will serve as the primary point ofcontact for existing and new accounts in the region, effectivelycommunicating Molecular Devices’ value proposition. The fullproduct portfolio includes microplate readers & washers,cellular imaging systems, clone screening and electrophysiologysolutions and associated software. As a member of the salesorganization, this role is responsible for building and maintainingstrong customer relationships directed toward growing MolecularDevices’ market share, revenue, and profitability year over year inthe following target market segments : life sciences, governmentinstallations, biotechnology, pharma, academic research labs,contract labs, and incubatorspaces.
This position reportsto the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Key AccountManager commercial team. This is a remote position, covering accounts in Germany South East andAustria .
Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto :
Drive growthand gain market share through effective territory planning, accountmanagement and value selling. Achieve sales targets and companygoals through successful promotion of Molecular Devices’ fullportfolio.
Actively engagecustomers, understand their research needs / challenges and positionMolecular Devices’ portfolio to supply the preferred innovativesolutions to acceleratediscovery.
Collaborate withand leverage internal technical specialists to understand customerworkflows. Develop and support solutions that exceed the customers’expectations while fully leveraging the entire MD portfolio.Generate demand for newtechnologies.
ChampionMolecular Devices standard sales processes, Danaher BusinessSystems, and digital tools, to drive sustainable success forMolecular Devices, the customer andyourself.
Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :
Bachelor’sDegree or higher in a related Life Sciencesdiscipline.
A minimum of 2years of field sales experience, engaging and selling into the lifescience, drug discovery, or relatedindustry.
Residingwithin listed territory and willing to invest 70% of working timein field interacting with customers andteammates.
Passionate aboutusing Salesforce.com CRM Database to share customer insights,forecast, accurately reflect funnel, analyze performance andidentify business gaps andstrengths.
Demonstratedability to build and maintain relationships with customers andinternal stake holders to achieve success in a teamenvironment .
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / EnvironmentRequirements :
Abilityto travel – 70% within territory or companyevents
Must have a validdriver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord
Ability to lift, moveor carry equipment up to40lbs.
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :
The microplatereader, high-content imaging or cell line developmentspace(s)
