WHAT WE OFFER YOU

For our Bremen / Lemwerder location we are looking for a :

Group Manager (m / f / d) Application Development

Your position in our crew

As a group leader (m / f / d) in our "Application Development" department, you will play a central role in the technical and operational management and further development of our software solutions. Your focus will be on development with Oracle APEX Low-Code and ERP development based on PHP.

  • You will lead a team of developers and product owners and be responsible for the design, development and optimization of enterprise applications with Oracle APEX.
  • You will also be responsible for the support and ongoing optimization of our PHP-based ERP system.
  • You will be responsible for all IT security aspects, in particular for secure software development and compliance with data protection and compliance requirements (GDPR, BSI, VS-NfD).
  • In your role, you will coordinate and manage development projects using agile methods
  • Together with the specialist departments, you will analyze requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • You ensure software quality through code reviews, tests and the implementation of best practices.
  • You will also drive innovation and digitalization projects forward and implement them successfully.
  • You will also support the strategic development of our IT landscape and actively accompany change processes.

What you have in your luggage

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Initial management experience or strong team coordination skills
  • Several years of experience and sound knowledge in application development with Oracle APEX or in PHP, SQL and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle Database
  • Experience with API management and interfaces between different systems
  • Knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices an advantage
  • Analytical mindset, initiative and a structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills in German and English and enjoy working with various stakeholders
