As a subsidiary of Hitachi Zosen Corporation, the green-tech company Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is a global leader in providing integrated solutions for the energy transition and circular economy, with a focus on Waste to Energy (WtE) and Renewable Gas (RG). Its headquarters are located in Zurich.
Our subsidiary, Hitachi Zosen Inova BioMethan GmbH, develops and manufactures modular plant technology for biomethane production and / or CO2 extraction from biogenic gases such as bio, sewage, or landfill gas, as well as from flue gases. The company employs approximately 160 people at its Zeven location in Lower Saxony, situated between Hamburg and Bremen.
Job Description
The biomethane markets in Europe are moving fast, regulation and subsidies can shift depending on the agenda of the EU and member states. As global player HZI needs to keep track of changes to identify opportunities and improve market shares in focus regions. Our technologies and designs may need to adapt to fit certain markets.
Your task will be to improve a tool to evaluate the market intelligence data provided and cross reference which HZI technologies may fit. To generate a full product, you will define the business model and life cycle and identify the options or adjustments needed to ensure the product viability in the target region.
Qualifications
- You will ideally find yourself in the first semesters of your master's degree or last semester of your bachelor's degree in industrial engineering / process engineering / energy engineering / business administration or a comparable qualification.
- You could work independently and self-motivated.
- You are fluent in German and English (B1).
- You have a driving license class B (passenger car)
- You bring solid experience with Office 365 products (Excel and Word) and other PC applications.
