Java developer – for a (global) market leader in logistics planning

Our client is a well known software company that focuses on optimising logistical routes, helping companies in the logistics sector to save time and costs.

They are an international market leader with over 40 years of experience building exceptional algorithms in route planning and optimisation.

Your tasks :

  • You will further develop the company’s central data preparation framework, used by more than a few teams in MS Azure Cloud environment.
  • You develop services and pipelines for real-time processing of traffic information, with the aim of improving the results of their products.
  • Additionally your work will cover the entire software development process, from conception to implementation.
  • You also need to ensure that the software remains maintainable, whereby good and comprehensive tests are just as important.
  • You will be in contact with developers who use the framework you have developed, therefore, you can also expect feedback for further development of the software.

Your profile :

  • You should have around 3-4 year of hands on experience in the Java development with a focus on the back-end.
  • Ideally you have experience with containerisation, and have already worked with Docker.
  • You need to have excellent communication skills in both German and English.
