Position : Senior Manager Business Development / Key Account Management Contract Logistics

About the Role :

A leading European logistics company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage client relationships in the contract logistics and supply chain management sector. This role focuses on expanding strategic partnerships acquiring new business in the automotive logistics vertical and developing tailored logistics solutions for clients across Europe.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the management and strategic development of key client accounts in contract logistics across the European market.
  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying engaging and building longterm relationships with potential customers in defined verticals.
  • Monitor market trends customer requirements and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on opportunities in the logistics and supply chain management industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations business development and senior leadership to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and client presentations to contract negotiations and aftersales support.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals develop tailored supply chain solutions and deliver compelling client presentations.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • A proven track record in business development or sales management within the contract logistics or supply chain sector particularly in the automotive logistics industry.
  • Completed degree in business administration logistics management or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in sales or key account management with expertise in acquiring and managing largescale logistics contracts.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer orientation negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe to meet with clients and attend industry events.
