Job Intro
As the Head of Builder Relations, you will lead the developer experience team (headcount : 5) and drive IOTA’s builder enablement strategy. Your primary mission is to empower developers by ensuring they have the right tools, resources, and support to successfully build applications in the IOTA ecosystem.
You will design and execute an optimized developer journey, particularly for newcomers to the Move ecosystem, and foster a thriving builder community. In this role, you will spearhead educational initiatives, manage developer-facing events such as hackathons, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party organizations to deliver an exceptional developer experience.
Additionally, as a key member of the R&D department, you will work closely with fellow team leads to maintain and enhance the documentation portal, ensuring accessibility and clarity for developers.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Lead and mentor the developer experience team, ensuring efficient execution of builder enablement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain high-quality educational content, including guides, tutorials, walkthroughs, and interactive learning experiences.
- Craft and refine the developer onboarding process, with a strong focus on easing entry into the Move ecosystem.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to scale our developer ecosystem.
- Act as a direct point of contact for developers, providing technical support and community engagement to foster adoption.
- Gather developer feedback and advocate for improvements in tooling, infrastructure, and overall developer experience.
- Plan and execute hackathons, workshops, and other developer events, collaborating with third parties and ecosystem partners.
- Oversee and enhance the documentation portal, working closely with the R&D team to ensure up-to-date, clear, and accessible resources.
- Develop partnerships with key industry stakeholders to expand the reach and adoption of IOTA’s technology.
- Analyze developer engagement metrics to measure the impact of enablement initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Represent IOTA at industry conferences, meetups, and community events, building strong relationships within the developer ecosystem.
