Key job responsibilities

• Developing indepth knowledge of HR functions within Amazons fastpaced operations
• Assisting with internal communication efforts to align teams across multiple countries promoting collaboration and informationsharing
• Helping develop training plans and materials to address the evolving development needs of various teams supporting employee growth
• Learning about HR functions across the broader Amazon organization and staying uptodate on best practices
• Providing support to Amazon employees on a range of daily queries related to attendance engagement compensation and other HR matters
• Assisting HR teams with daytoday operational routines and administrative tasks
• Participating in process reviews to identify opportunities for simplification and automation driving efficiency improvements
• Compiling comprehensive personnel statistics reports and performance evaluations to inform decisionmaking
• Partnering closely with business leaders to align HR strategies and initiatives with organizational goals and priorities

A day in the life

This internship will immerse you in HR within a global organization. You may have the opportunity to work on projects in different HR (human resources) areas like employee relations training or compensation. As an intern youll have the chance to apply your analytical problemsolving and technical skills as well as develop important communication and other professional soft skills through handson experience.

This internship will place you at the heart of human resources in a fastpaced global setting. Youll gain insights into how HR partners with the business to drive growth and organizational excellence. The skills and experience you develop including strong communication abilities and other professional soft skills will be highly applicable as you embark on your HR career

Are enrolled in or have completed a Bachelors degree in business administration management economics ecommerce mathematics engineering statistics or related field

Speak write and read fluently in English

Work 40 hours / week and overtime as required

Speak write and read fluently in German

Knowledge of HR HR management organizational development concepts
