Global Proposal Manager – Drug Product m/f/d

What you can expect

Make a Difference in Global Pharmaceutical Partnerships

As Global Proposal Manager – Drug Product, you will lead and coordinate the global proposal process across our international network. Working closely with Sales, Program Management, Operations, and technical teams, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, competitive, and customer-focused proposals that drive business growth and strengthen client relationships.

Proposal Management

• Lead the end-to-end proposal process from opportunity assessment to submission
• Develop proposal strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs to create compelling technical and commercial offers
• Ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time

Stakeholder & Customer Collaboration

• Act as the central interface between Sales, Program Management, Operations, Quality, Development, Legal, and other stakeholders
• Support customer discussions, clarification meetings, and proposal negotiations
• Facilitate alignment and drive efficient decision-making throughout the proposal process

Process Excellence & Governance

• Establish and continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and governance standards
• Drive standardization and best-practice sharing across sites and regions
• Monitor proposal KPIs, including quality, lead times, and win rates
• Support risk assessment and mitigation planning within proposals

Capability Development

• Promote proposal management best practices across the organization
• Support training and knowledge sharing to strengthen proposal capabilities globally

To successfully master this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in proposal management, project management, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO industry
• Strong understanding of drug product development, manufacturing, and CDMO business models
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical content into customer-focused solutions
• Experience with proposal and project management methodologies and tools
• Structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach
• Strong ownership mentality and attention to detail
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and cultures
• Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen
• Resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
