The Concrete Towers business unit is dedicated to the design, manufacturing, and installation of concrete towers for wind turbines.
As a Quality Technician SITE (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring quality standards during the construction and installation of concrete towers.
This position offers stability and predictability. You will work exclusively within Germany and benefit from rotation systems for on-site work, either 3 weeks on / 1 week off and 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off. All costs related to your assignments, such as accommodation near wind farm sites and rental cars, are fully covered by Nordex.
YOUR TASKS
Implement the quality methodologies and procedures on site. Ensure that the quality control plan is strictly followed
Supervise the correct execution of the different subprocess for the construction of the concrete towers
Inspect the incoming elements on site: concrete tower segments, grouting materials, tower internals, etc.
Check the correct pre-assembly of the tower internals in the concrete segments
Conduct audits of the preassembly and assembly phases of the concrete towers
Perform the final inspections of the concrete tower prior to the handover to the PM organization
Detect, open and manage the non-conformities opened during the construction phase
Check the quality methods and documentation used by the subcontractors on site
Report on the daily progress of the status of the construction activities in terms of quality
Participate in meetings with other areas within the concrete tower structure to ensure execution of the project
Coordinate with the global quality team in terms of tasks and activities on site
YOUR PROFILE
Certificate of Higher Education in Engineering or similar
Experience in Construction, experience with wind turbine assembly and construction activities desirable. Experience with quality procedures
High English level
Resolution of possible technical issues
Communication skills
Capable to work in teams
Willingness to travel: You are ready to travel and work flexibly on-site according to project requirements.
