What You Will Do :
We are looking to hire a professional Human Capital Business Partner to focus and collaborate with the teams in Berlin / Cologne, Germany (circa 90 people).
The ideal candidate will be able to roll their sleeves up’ and immerse themselves in the day-to-day human capital requirement for the Berlin / Cologne office.
Whilst being mindful that we are a global organisation of 17,000 people and therefore ensuring that the global policies and procedures are also considered.
You will provide support to management and employees with engagement programs, performance management, operational excellence, run the local internship program and legal compliance.
The role requires the candidate to be the main liaison to the Works Council in Germany and educate others within the business of what is required.
Business Partnering
Act as a business partner and advisor to local management and employees on all HR related matters.
HR operational excellence
There is a big focus on automation and leveraging capabilities of Workday and other systems. Set up and improve the efficiency of HR-related services and policies and analyse trends and metrics.
Employee engagement

Performance management
Support managers and employees throughout the annual performance management cycle, where we look for our people to excel and grow.
Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances.
Collaboration with Works Council
Cooperate with the works council with a focus on advancing the implementation of the global and country company policies, systems and tools.
Participate in the conception, negotiation, introduction, and implementation of works agreements in close collaboration with the HC HRD.
What You Will Need :
Degree educated with 5 years of relevant experience.
You have solid HR generalist experience, with business partnering experience.
A thorough background in HR processes impacting the Employee lifecycle.
Solid basic knowledge of individual and collaborative labour law and ideally you have partnered with a Works Council.
Outstanding communication skills.
Positive minded and looking to contribute to great team atmosphere.
Thrives by working across the international organisation, sets own agenda and has solid time management skills.
Strong command of the English and German language.
Positive 'will do' attitude.
