Job Title : Business Development Manager

Location : Remote in Germany

Type : Contract, Full-time Commitment

Base Salary : €70,000 - €100,000 + 20% Bonus

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Development Professional to expand the business opportunities within Germany, with an emphasis on pharmacies, strategic partnerships, and key opinion leader networks

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the company’s market presence in Germany
  • Develop and manage relationships with pharmacies, clinics and medical cannabis prescribers
  • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry organisations, medical professionals, and business partners
  • Build and leverage a network of key opinion leaders to advocate for the company’s offering ensuring strong market positioning and credibility
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the medical cannabis sector
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to meet and exceed business targets
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company objectives
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to align business development efforts with overall company strategy
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and foster relationships
  • Extensive travel across Germany and some international travel will be required to meet with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical cannabis industry
  • Strong network and experience in working with pharmacies and key opinion leaders in Germany
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships and business relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies to meet evolving market needs
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
