We are looking for

Application Engineer (m / f / d) Connection Systems Automotive

at one of our locations in Germany (Pfullingen or Düsseldorf) or in Hungary (Budaörs or Veszprém) or in the USA (South Carolina, Greenville).

Your tasks :

This role is about to be a technical Bridge between Customer and our internal Engineering Teams. As a part of Engineering team you will have a great opportunity to be a First contact of the Customer and to support our Product Management and Engineering.

• Benchmark of Competitor products to derive innovative solutions but also have a understanding about their cost structure
• To be a technical Voice of the Customer and transfer the requirements of the customer to Voltaira HV Engineering Team
• Driving the Project technical from a concept to series and give a relevant input for the HV Product Line Portfolio Roadmap
• Design & Concept alignment with the core team, product management and other relevant functions
• Provide Calculations to the Voltaira Sales Team

Your Profile :

• University degree in the field of engineering (mechatronics, mechanical engineering or related)
• 5+ years of experience in the development of connection systems (HV connectors, LV connectors, high frequency, etc.), preferably in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of relevant standards (IATF 16949, FMEA, LV 214, USCAR 2, LV 215, etc.)
• Very good communication skills and strong solution orientation
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%)
