Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled and committed Financial Accountant to fortify their Corporate Accounting team. The position entails a dynamic array of duties, including regulatory reporting in adherence to IFRS 17 and ensuring quality assurance.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in augmenting their system infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on SAP FPSL, whilst serving as a collaborative partner for our counterparts across the global organization.

Responsibilities :

• To oversee, interpret, and implement IFRS 17 closing and reporting
• To make sure that all IFRS 17 closing and reporting responsibilities are carried out correctly, competently, and on schedule
• Establish technical requirements for future development of our IFRS 17 subledger (FPSL)
• Take ownership of assigned IFRS 17 accounting topics
• Support branches and subsidiaries with regard to global closing processes and systems
• Execute quality assurance in our FPSL and provide significant information to senior management
• Lead finance projects and change management initiatives in an agile environment

Requirements :

• A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, actuarial science, or a related field is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
• The ability to work independently
• Knowledge of SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) is advantageous
• At least three to five years of professional experience in international accounting, finance, or controlling in the (re)insurance sector is required.
